Driveway and patio cleaning

A jet wash on its own lifts the dirt and often leaves the growth to come back. We match the method to the surface.

• Softwash or biocide first, to kill algae, moss and lichen at the root.
• Controlled pressure only where the surface can take it, to lift loosened dirt.
• Block paving: joints often lose sand when washed, so we can re-sand with kiln-dried sand once it is dry.
• Indian sandstone and limestone: lower pressure. Too much force roughens the stone.
• Resin-bound drives: low pressure and a test patch. High pressure can damage the resin.
• Concrete slabs and tarmac: cleaned to suit the condition of the surface.
• Plants and edges covered where the treatment could reach them.
