Gutter repairs and installations
A gutter that drips at a joint or overflows in rain sends water down the wall and into the fascia. Most of the time the gutter itself is not split. The joint seal has failed, the outlet is blocked, or the run has sagged so water sits instead of draining.

What we repair and fit
- Leaking uPVC joints, taken apart, cleaned and resealed or refitted with a new union
- Sagging runs, brackets refixed and the fall put back towards the outlet
- Cracked sections, outlets, stop ends and downpipes
- Blocked gutters and downpipes cleared as part of the repair
- New uPVC gutter runs and downpipes
- Cast iron joints resealed, and sections replaced where the metal has rusted through
- Fascia checked where the brackets pull out. A new gutter on rotten timber will not hold.

Repair or replace
One leaking joint is a repair. If most joints have failed, the plastic is brittle, or cast iron has rusted through, a new run is the better job. We say which before we start.

Most “leaks” are a failed joint, a blockage or a sag, not a split gutter. We check the fall and the fascia, not just the drip you can see from the ground.
