Most roof leaks start at a junction, not in the middle of a sound slope. A slipped tile, cracked ridge mortar, or lead that has lifted at a chimney is enough to let water in. Finding the leak

We follow the water path

A stain on a ceiling or damp in the loft is often not directly under the fault. We look at the real leak points — slipped or cracked tiles, failed ridge mortar, lead at chimneys and walls, valleys, and perished felt — and trace how the water is travelling, not just the mark you can see.

Advice

Repair or new roof

A repair is the right job when the leak is in one place and the rest of the covering is sound. If tiles are failing across the slope, the felt has perished, or the same spot has been patched more than once, we will say so and price a proper replacement instead of another patch.
